It was a now late into the night a time most would be sleeping in bed. That what everyone was doing they had all had a well long day of having to work to even pay for the two beds they had use to share with each other. Though Yukio could sleep no most nights he could so once everyone else had fallen asleep he gotten up and wounder over to the window and open it then standing on the small ledge of the window he had climbed out the window and on to the roof on the inn they were staying at and he looked up at the stars. It was still to to grasp that they were in another world that was strange. Still it was better than being back home.
Yes back home life was well not that great for him no he did not life with his real parents since his father had been abusive alcoholic and mother had abound him. So he lived with foster families some of them had been alright and some had just been strange. Still the one he lived with now were not to bad. Yet he still was starting to enjoy this place it was interesting he was almost temped to leave the others to explore. Though he did not think that was a good idea just yet no he knew that he should stay with them for a while even if he really felt the would not notice if he was gone. Yukio hardly spoke with the others so it was not like he consider any of them close friends if anything they were just his class mates.
As he continued to sit on the roof looking at the stars it was nice to actually be able to see the stars. Living in the city in there world you could not see the stars at night since the city light were so bright. There was slight breeze, yet was not clod out it was very pleasant out. It was nicer being out than stuck inside the stuffy room and even the kitchen he had been placed in to work to help pay for the room. Yes when they had all been given jobs by the inn keep to pay for there room he was picked to work in the kitchen helping cook food. Which had actually been fun for since he did enjoy cooking which of course none of his class mates knew about. They all though of him as so rebel who like to cause trouble, yet if they actually got knew they would find out he was nice guy. Yukio continued to look up at the stars as the breeze continued to blow as he stood on the roof.

Miku was sleeping as peacefully as a rich teenager could in the thing they used to call bed though, she felt something move in it, something that quickly took her away from dreamland. What was that? She didn’t know, it was just…moving under her. She froze, not daring to look under it to see what it was. What if it was a thief? Or worse a murderer! She yelped in panic, her heart beating quickly at the thoughts that were rushing through her head with panic. Her eyes flashed open quickly and she dared to take a look…only to see what would be in her worse nightmare; a roach!
She froze with panic on her bed and did what any other reasonable girl would do in such a situation. She glanced at where the boys were sleeping, not seeing anyone awake she sighed, grabbed her pillow and threw it at Dai’s face with an agility that would be quite impressive coming from a girl who didn’t much sport beside shopping. She hoped he would be awake after that, or else, she would have to step on the floor, where the roach was! She didn’t want to lay a feet on there!! She curled up at the thought with fear; god she hated insects.
“Dai, are you awake?” she asked whispering hoping he would hear her. If he wasn’t awake, she didn’t know what else she could do besides having nightmares about roaches under her bed. She didn’t want that to happen. She looked up and took her glasses; she could take him off once in a while but when she was waking up, her vision was always blurry, maybe she had imagined the roach-she hoped at least. She looked at the floor to see it moving again. She yelped and startled, tears began flowing out of her eyes. ‘I want to go home, I don’t want to have to share my bed with anyone anymore, I don’t want to have to mop around…I’m scared…’ she thought with a small sob. What if they were stuck in that world forever?! The idea made her sulk but it wasn’t the time for that right now. First, she needed Dai to kill that ugly roach! [/size]

That work was hard and the pay miserable. Two beds, honestly, who'd have the intelligence of putting nearly fifteen people in two small beds! And they definitely didn't know Kazuki. Dai had tried to avoid him. He even tried to sleep in someone else's bed, to sleep with the girls or let him sleep with them but it didn't work. Guys in their bed, ladies in theirs. Dai made sure to have people between him and his number one fan though. Still, Dai had a real hard time to sleep. The bed was small, way too small for all of them so they were all against each other if not on top of each other. And every time Dai was feeling someone moving behind him - for he was at one edge of the bed - he feared it was Kazuki trying to hit on him.
So how can you sleep in those condition? They had managed to kill most of the insects but you could still hear them running on the floor at times, when you were not disturbed by the snore of someone. So it wasn't hard to imagine Dai could barely sleep. He started to think if he had to sleep in a bed like this with all the guys to have a chance to flirt with a few girls, then it wasn't really worth it. Especially if Miku was to break in all the time. Talking of whom, Dai received all of a sudden, while he was finally sleeping, a pillow in his face. he groaned, burying his face against the mat. Who the hell thought it was funny to do a pillow fight at this hour.
The answer to his question came out as a soft voice said: “Dai, are you awake?” Dai sighed. Who else but Miku. He tried to imagine why she'd bother him like this when he clearly wasn't with a girl. Unless he had walked in his sleep to the girls' bed, there were only boys around him. He tried to ignore her but after he heard her yelp, he decided to go check. Who knows, perhaps it would be important for once. He stood up, felt the breeze coming from the window. He frowned. It wasn't open when he came to bed. He shrugged the thought off and walked to Miku, not caring about if there was anything on the floor. Anyway, he slept with his shoes so no one would try to still them. "What is it?" he asked her with a sleepy tone when he arrived near her. He frowned. The light of the moon allowed him to see she had cried. Though he wasn't so surprised, she could after all cry for a lost cell phone or anything useless, he still wondered what brought her to call upon him.

Night time. A time of stars and pure natural beauty. A time when everything seemed to stand still and take the time to rest. Well, of course, that was everyone except sleeping beauty himself--Kazuki. How could he sleep in such conditions? First of all--he could hear the pitter-patter of bugs running about the floor--even though some of more nonchalant campers had stomped the majority of them to a gutty pulp. The princess of a man couldn't stand to touch the filthy creatures himself, but hey--that was a job for the real men. He wasn't a common man. He was a princess!
Another reason he just couldn't bring himself to sleep--his long-time crush was laying simply two beds away from him. Two. Beds. That was like...Frolicing distance apart! He could frolic over to his love any time of the night if he wanted to! But, he would have to resist, being he was trying to get on the handsome male's good side. Not only that, but he didn't want to anger Miku-chan, who was sleeping withing listening distance of the boys.
It was all so much for his weary mind to try to process. He was hardly tired though. But his eyes no-doubtedly could use the rest. Because of this, he decided to simply lay on his "bed" with his eyes shut. It was refreshing. Refreshing until he heard the soft "thunk" of someone being hit with a pillow. He wondered who the victim was. Opening one eye in curiosity, he heard his beloved Miku-chan ask if Dai was awake or not.
He held his breath knowing that an all-out showdown was about to occur; either between his best friend and his lover, or between his lover and the dreaded cockroaches. He hoped and prayed for the latter of the two. Kazuki hated it when the two fighted--which they happened to do constantly. It was heart-wrenching, but of course, he would keep loyalty to his dear Miku. She was the best girl friend a gay guy could ever wish for! She was a great shopping buddy, knew how to accessorize, and was ready to pick people apart when it came to their style.
"Miku-chan?" Kazuki sat up in bed, letting his curious side get the best of him. "What's wrong, honey?"

Yukio was still sitting on the roof enjoying the view of the stars. Being outside was better than being crammed in a bed with bunch of other people. Then he herd sounds coming from inside the room he wounder if someone had woken up. “Dai,are you awake?” he herd the voice of Miku she must have woken up. Then a few seconds later he herd another voice "What is it?" Dai must have woken up. Yukio just hopped that Dai and Miku would not get into another fight. They were always getting into arguments it was rather annoying to listen to them fight. Still it did not help that Miku always complain about something. Then he herd the sounds of another voice "Miku-chan?" he knew that voice belong to Kazuki who most everyone knew like Dai.
"What's wrong, honey?" he herd Kazuki ask Miku that and he guessed maybe it would be a good idea to go back inside now. So he climbed down of the roof and back onto the small ledge and back inside the room. Looking around he could see all three them now and he was sure they would have herd him coming back inside through the window. Yukio moved away from the window and off to the right of it leaning against the wall. He remained quite waiting to see what would happen. Yes he wounder what Miku would complain about and would she get into another fight with Dai or would they just talk. Yes it would be nice they did not fight. Yukio was sure if they got loud it might wake everyone else up.
Yukio was sure Miku did have a lot to complain as they all did there room did have bugs in it plush giving the only two beds for the number of people they had was a bit unfair. Plush they did do have to do work just even get the room and some work the other had to do had not been well the most exciting. Yukio had gotten luck to get work in the Kitchen since it had not been to bad. Still the inn keeper could have given them more bed to sleep in. Yes at least then the would not have felt cramp in beds and the would be able to sleep well. Leaning against the wall he remained quite waiting for them to even notice that he was up and there.

Miku waited for anyone to answer, maybe she had awaken someone else and maybe that other student was too pissed at her not to answer and left her with her fear of roaches. Oh she wished it wasn’t the matter. For once, she really needed Dai and for once she would try not to hit him—that is, only if he ‘saved’ her from that ugly insect who had pulled the queen she was out of dreamland. What a shame it was to do such things, especially coming from the ugliest insect she had ever seen.
She heard noises meaning that someone was waking up and getting off the bed. She looked up to see it was in fact Dai, well that was nice, at least she would be able—she hoped to get some sleep later on. She quickly took off her glasses, not wanting him to see how ugly she could look with those two gigantic orbs that made her look like a geek and hid them under her pillow. "Miku-chan?" She paused for a few seconds seeing that her friend was awake too; thank god she wasn’t alone anymore He came to her and she waited till he was close enough to tell him the big emergency that he would have to face. "What is it?" She paused, trying to spot that spot that was the insect that was still roaming around the room and there she saw it, close to the boy’s bed end. "What's wrong, honey?" She pointed it. “There’s a-a-a-a roach!” she said holding the sheet tightly.
“Please…kill it…” she added looking at him with those puppy yet scared eyes that couldn’t bear the sight of it. She tried to be as silent as she could be during such a scary situation. She didn’t want to get the other students to be madder at her than they already was. After all, it was because of her that they ended up in this dump. At that instant, she noticed someone lying against the wall, she vaguely recognized the shape of the person, or at least she hoped…it was a student. She sighed; did she always have to look like a scaredy cat in front of only males?

As Dai approached of Miku, he heard a movement behind him. he didn't care. It was coming from the bed, probably a guy moving in his sleep. But then he heard that voice. "Miku-chan?" "What's wrong, honey?" He closed his eyes and cursed under his breath. Why did he had to be awake? It was not that he hated the guy, he actually didn't care at all for him. But he couldn't stand to have him perpetually flirt with him or try to have his way. Dai was not into guy, not at all and was certainly not to start with him.
As he turned his gaze back on the girl, he noticed she hid something. he frowned. Could it be her glasses? They had dated each other and even though he never saw her with them on, he knew she had to wear them. Even in this pitiful place she had to look at her best, isn't she? Well, that was her problem if she thought he could laugh at her glasses. A man such as himself would never dare to but perhaps she had not understood it yet.
“There’s a-a-a-a roach!” Dai widened his eyes and sighed out of exasperation. That was the reason she woke him up!? A mere roach! As he turned to look where she was pointing, he heard a soft noise coming from the window. He thought seeing a shape. He stretched his neck to see better. Could it be a thief? No, after a moment, he understood it was just Yukio. “Please…kill it…” Dai sighed. "Quiet or you'll wake everybody." he said on a somewhat pissed off tone. Usually, he wouldn't have minded killing an insect for a girl. In old times, knights were killing rogues and dangerous beasts. In our days, the monsters turned into beetles and spiders.
He looked around the floor for the beast It was very close to where he was sleeping. he stomped on it, not caring to have almost woken up the guy. He cleaned his shoe by scraping it against the floor but all of a sudden he paused. "I think you'll find there is more than one" he said as the noise of his stomp woke up some insects who were fleeing from under the bed into the room.

“There’s a-a-a-a roach!”Kazuki let out a quiet "Well ew!" in disgust. EW! JUST EWWW! He hated bugs and other vermin such as them. Roaches were by far some of the most disgusting things ever. Kazuki made a dramatic leap from his bed to hers--which wasn't too far, actually, allowing him to land quietly enough as to not wake the others. There was no way he was going to set foot on the ground with a roach on the loose! That would just be plain disgusting. He could hear Dai sigh in an annoyed way. He was such a man...not afraid of the ugly creatures that were cockroaches. “Please…kill it…” Looking over at his crush, his cheeks gained then lost a small blush. He wanted something done and he wanted it done now. He also knew that Miku-chan wouldn't be able to so much as lay back down knowing that one of those creatures was running around by her bed. "Quiet or you'll wake everybody." At this, the princess wanted to retort that his Miku-chan *was* being quiet, considering the situation's utter awfulness, but he kept quiet. He bit his tongue--quite literally holding it down with his teeth. He wanted to bring up how lucky Dai was that she had simply thrown a pillow and not something harder (even though the pillows were pretty hard for...well...pillows). He wanted to start discussing why cockroaches were a very bad thing for this encampment; how many diseases they could be spreading!
Kazuki muffled a squeal as Dai stepped--no--stomped on the creature in question. "Did you...Did you get it?" He stared at his beloved's face--not wanting to know what that awful noise he was hearing was. It most definitely could not be that creature running off...unless the beast hid just tripled in size, gained the ability to scamper in more than one direction at once, and gained about fifty more legs. "I think you'll find there is more than one" "...You...You must be joking." The homosexual crinkled is nose in pure disgust, feeling as if he were about to puke. "So...that noise I just heard...were...were more of those dastardly creatures?"
Wrapping his arms around his darling Miku, he found himself clinging to her. EW! JUST EWWW! THERE WERE MORE NOW?!
The young man literally had to stop himself from screaming or speaking loudly at the very least. Though thanks to whatever was holding him back tonight, his self control was pretty decent. He had to be strong. For his sake and for Miku's. Not only that, but maybe his new-found self-control would impress Dai? Well...maybe not. It was worth a shot. He had tried everything else.
"What are we going to do? I mean they just *have* to be killed. We can't just allow these filthy, disease-ridden creatures to venture about our sleeping area. I mean...what if some poor child's sleeping with his or her mouth open and one of those terrors decides...Oh it's just too awful to think about." he said, arms still wrapped tightly around his best friend. He figured that she was just as afraid of the disgusting invasion as he was, so he didn't think she would mind his attaching himself to her. Sure, he had just gone off on one of his famous rants--this one was relatively small, though--but he had done so quietly. He was quite proud of himself.
Of course, he had an idea.
"I propose that we should attack them with all we have! Pillows, shoes, and sock-clad feet! Of course, I myself would be terrified...So who's willing to volunteer for this new...Roach Destruction Squad? The RDS. It sounds quite catchy, no? Who wants to be part of a catch-ily named squad~?"
He sounded pretty tempting, if he did say so himself. His gaze drifted from the rebel to the womanizer. Surely these two manly men would be part of the RDS! They would be extremely useful for killing those roaches!

“There’s a-a-a-a roach!” listing he herd Miku say that to Dai. So it was the bugs that she was complying about. Yes well there were quite a few roaches in the room since the room was not most clean one in the world. The upkeep of the rooms here were not the best quality. Though Yukio was not really bother by the bugs like Miku was though he guessed she was use to living in lap of luxury not having to sleep in bad contentions like these. “Please…kill it…” she wand Dai to kill the roach, but he really did not see how that would help since there were a lot more than one roach. "Quiet or you'll wake everybody." it was true if she got any louder it would wake everyone else up. Listing he herd a crunch as Dai stepped on the Roach killing.
"I think you'll find there is more than one" that was true since after Dai had killed the one roach Yukio saw a few more scurry around. "Did you...Did you get it?" herd Kazuki ask Dai that after he killed the roach. Yukio was sure Dai got it, but there were still a few roaches running around the floor. "...You...You must be joking." "So...that noise I just heard...were...were more of those dastardly creatures?" that was right the noise was the sound of Roaches scurrying across the floor. Watching he saw Kazuki cling to Miku it seemed he did not like roaches as well. "What are we going to do? I mean they just *have* to be killed. We can't just allow these filthy, disease-ridden creatures to venture about our sleeping area. I mean...what if some poor child's sleeping with his or her mouth open and one of those terrors decides...Oh it's just too awful to think about." even if they did mange to kill the roaches he knew that there would still be more of them. Yes it would take more than just stopping them to get rid of all of them.
"I propose that we should attack them with all we have! Pillows, shoes, and sock-clad feet! Of course, I myself would be terrified...So who's willing to volunteer for this new...Roach Destruction Squad? The RDS. It sounds quite catchy, no? Who wants to be part of a catch-ily named squad~?" he knew that would be the idea that would be though of and he noticed Kazuki looking over at him. Which he knew meant that would be expected to help with killing the roaches. Still he guessed he was not bother by having to do that. He knew that Miku and Kazuki would help much since they had been freaked out by the roaches. Still Yukio did not make any moves to start killing roaches he remain leaning against the wall quite. Yukio deiced he would let Dai start fist then start killing roaches when Dai started stepping on them.

Miku waited for someone do make a move, or more like for Dai to make a move, after all, he was the manly man awake to save her from the ugly creature. She was glad when her friend Kazu-hime joined her, at least she would have some emotional support during such a difficulty they would have to face! She thought that those other students had stomped on all the roach that were in this room, why did there had to be one left?!
"Quiet or you'll wake everybody." Miku blinked and glared at Dai’s words. She wasn’t even talking loudly and he was ordering her to be ‘quiet’ or else she would wake up everyone! What the heck?! Still, she didn’t say anything, in fear that he might not want to obey to her request and killed the ugly insects for once in all! She decided to just glare at him to make it up for the little incident. She humphed at his words and turned her attention to Kazu-hime, not wanting to have to deal with that annoying pervert who had to do a manly job.
She did hear the stomp but Kazu was faster than her in the questioning part. "Did you...Did you get it?" She turned to look at her perverted….acquaintance with hopeful eyes. "I think you'll find there is more than one" She felt like being about to spazz when Dai said those words. No way! He had to be kidding, they weren’t going to be sharing a room with billion of roaches! Not at all! Kazu-hime didn’t seem to believe it either!
"...You...You must be joking. So...that noise I just heard...were...were more of those dastardly creatures?" At those words, Kazu-chan hugged her and she immediately hugged her best friend back; she didn’t want to die under all of those creatures! “We have to do something!” she said as her eyes began to tear up with panic. “I don’t want to spend the rest of the time we’ll be here sharing my room with roaches!” she said, still using a low voice.
That had to be a great idea! She followed Kazu’s gaze as he looked at the rebel, whom she didn’t know since how long he had been there and looked at Dai as well. “That’s a great idea, please?” she asked to both of the boys wishing they would be willing to do so.

"...You...You must be joking. So...that noise I just heard...were...were more of those dastardly creatures?" That was what Dai heard in his back. So, that guy joined Miku in her bed huh? Well, he could stay there for all he cared. Actually, he'd prefer it that way. He sighed, a little pissed off though at his comment. What was he expecting anyway. Taking his lighter, he let a flame illuminate a small part of the floor. At the sight of the light, the roaches started to ran away. Dai, pushed some trying to climb on him. If it was only for him, he wouldn't mind. He disturbed them in their sleep by stomping one of their fellow, but if they were to remain quiet, surely they would all go back under the bed and stop annoying them.
“I don’t want to spend the rest of the time we’ll be here sharing my room with roaches!” Dai sighed once again. Yeah of course, she couldn't let it slip either. And it was to be him who had to do all the job. Funny how his perverted self was such a pain for things yet when it came to do manly business, she was always turning on him. He almost wanted to tell her to go to Hell with her roaches and go to bed. But Kazuki added some more.
Dai turned to stare at them two after he heard Miku agreeing to his plan. Good!? So it was a good idea to slam the ground with every heavy objects around!? Hearing the snores of some comrades, Dai didn't think they'd find it that good. He glanced at Yukio but he had not made a single move. Probably no help would come out of him.
He laughed sarcastically, keeping it on a low tone though. "But of course, what an amazing idea." he said ironically. he went back to bed and grabbed both Kazuki and Miku's pillows. He threw Kazuki's pillow to the ground and stomp on it, killing that way a couple of roaches without making too much sound. He thought doing the same with Miku's pillow but thought she'd probably take his eyeballs out for it. So he used it only to push them and throw them away from their beds to the others. "There." he said to Miku once he was done, throwing her pillow at her face. Then he went back to bed and lied down at his place.

When Kazuki first mentioned the RDS and saw that no one was jumping out of their bed to do his bidding, a small frown slid across his lips. How did anyone *not* want to join? Well, with exception of himself and Miku. There was no way the two of them were going to touch those filthy, disease-ridden roaches. “That’s a great idea, please?” At least his darling best friend agreed with him. He stopped clinging to her, but latched onto her arm in a way to say 'thanks for supporting my idea--even after the other two shot me weird looks' kind of way.
Yukio didn't move at all. This caused the frown to remain on Kazu-hime's lips. How could he be so indifferent. Sure, he was the rebel, but that was no reason to be completely unresponsive. It was just mean. Was he trying to ignore the amazing plan on purpose? Maybe on the inside, he was leaping with excited joy! The Maimami took this into serious consideration, and when he found no other plausible reason for Yukio to be still yet, he decided to let himself believe that the quiet guy was rejoicing--on the inside, at least. It was a fun way to think about things, at least.
The Homosexual then heard a laugh. A blush crossed his cheeks as he turned to look at the quietly chuckling Dai. He held an expecting look on his face as he stopped his laughing, only to be looking at him and Miku. Oh my...Even if Dai did claim to hate him, his heart always decided to go 'doki doki' every time his charming classmate looked his way. "But of course, what an amazing idea."
Dai agreed with him?! This was perfect! Absolutely wonderful! Dai, the amazingly wonderful manly man, agreed with him. Well thank goodness! Now something was sure to get done. Kazuki could have sworn that he saw the fierce glow of a battle shimmer in Dai's gorgeous eyes. Kazuki promptly rested his cheek on Miku-chan's--a blush still keeping his skin warm. Dai was so cool... Arms firmly wrapped around Miku's right arm, he watched his long-time crush with admiration in his eyes.
Then, a change of course seemed to overtake the womanizer's gaze. He snatched Kazuki and Miku's pillows. The princess's jaw nearly hit the floor when Dai roughly wailed his pillow at the ground, then stomped on it. He couldn't believe this! He unwrapped himself from Miku's arm, then cautiously went over to the object, as he saw his love throw his best friend's pillow back at her. He felt like crying. Why did Dai hate him so much?
Wrinkling his nose in pure disgust, he lifted the pillow from the dust-caked floor. He swallowed hard before turning it over. He saw the guts of what looked like cockroach-zilla on his pillow. Needless to say, Kazuki felt sick to his stomach. He simply stared at the pillow for a few minutes, feeling his soul temporarily leaving his body. Why did Dai have to be so cruel toward him...? He was kinder to Miku, and Miku was his ex! It just wasn't fair...
When his soul was back in his body, he flung the pillow to the other side of the room, hearing a softly muffled thud as it hit the wall. His eyes were glued shut. He felt like he needed water. Boiling hot water with which he could sanitize his poor hands. Alcohol too, for that matter, to kill all the germs that were now clinging to his finger-tips.
Kazuki nearly let go of a blood-curdling scream, until he heard the soft snore of his friends and fellow classmates. The sweetheart, the twins...they were all still soundly sleeping. He couldn't bring himself to wake them up. Thus, he simply let streams of tears flow from his eyes for a few seconds, before crawling onto his bed. When he saw a roach had made it's home in his covers, he promptly flicked it off his bed, watching it fall to the ground and land on it's back. He didn't kill it. No way was he getting his socks dirty after his poor pillow had already suffered a fate as close to death as a pillow could possibly suffer.
Assuming the fetal position, he wrapped his arms tightly around his knees. This could not be happening. What he would give just to go home, wake up, and have this all be an awful dream... Kazuki was not enjoying Moorwick, or whatever they called this place. He just wanted his own soft pillows--no cockroach guts, just soft, silky goodness.
