As Dai approached, he got an earful of what was going on. “She has red hair and brown eyes, we’ve been looking for her for quite a while now and we’d like to know if you have seen someone that could’ve fit the description, it’s our princess.” Instantly, it became clear to him. He discreetly look at the stage. He frowned, thinking he saw some brown-reddish hair. Was it her hideout? So, she was a princess huh? Well, that explained her reaction he gave her that sweet name. Dai smirked. He never dated a princess. He dated Miku, whom thought she was a princess, but not a real one. That sounded even more interesting.
Dai thought the best way to get her would be to become her loyal knight. And the opportunity occurred as a guard came to the stage where she was hidden. Without hesitation, he came over him. "Pardon me. I've seen a girl like that before. On the plaza. She was by a fountain." he lied. He hoped they would believe him. He remembered having seen a fountain as he walked to here. He hoped they'd believe him.
Apparently they did. The guard spoke in a language he couldn't understand a word of and the pack of them left the inn. Dai sighed. Wow. It was a luck that other waitress was not there to talk. He bet she would have given her away.
Since no one was taking care of him, he left behind the curtain of the stage. He wanted to see her and be thanked for his action.

From where she was, Keth could obviously not see what was happening and she hoped the bodyguard of hers would get the hell out of this place. It wasn’t an appropriate language to use for a princess (she happened to be influenced often by humans) but she didn’t mind. She knew she would be in some big trouble. Her heart was beating faster now, she could hear the footsteps of the bodyguard coming closer and closer, oh no they had noticed her!
That was, until Dai appeared in the scene and saved the day. “Pardon me. I've seen a girl like that before. On the plaza. She was by a fountain." Uh? She wasn’t by the fountain…but it was nice of him to help her out that way. She listened carefully, understanding what the guards were telling to one in their elven language. She sighed of relief once she peeked out quickly to see that he had turned his back and now the two were leaving.
Good, she would be able to finish her shift before trying to return incognito to the palace. She was about to get out from her hiding spot, but seeing Dai the day’s savior for the moment, she stopped and smiled at him, bowing slightly. “Thank you so much…I’m sorry I have to lie on my real name still but I’m really glad you covered up for me, even if we just met.” She said. “I don’t even know how I could thank you for that one.” She added rubbing the back of her head, a little embarrassed.

“Thank you so much…I’m sorry I have to lie on my real name still but I’m really glad you covered up for me, even if we just met.” Dai had a small smile at the corner of his lips. Yes, he thought so that she used a fake name. That would be too dangerous to use her real one isn't it? He looked at the girl. So, she was a princess huh? He didn't want to be rude but he wasn't seeing her like one. She was ... too innocent. How could she rule a kingdom some day if people could get to her so easily? If she couldn't see he was flirting with her, could she see when people were backstabbing her? Probably not.
“I don’t even know how I could thank you for that one.” Oh, Dai knew how. But he doubted it would be appropriate. He could just hear Miku's voice calling him a pervert to dare take advantage of a young girl like her. No, he'd have his way with her, but not like this. When he'll have her, she will undress willingly for him. Otherwise it would not be fair. And she wouldn't sleep with him because she wanted but because she felt forced. He wasn't the type of man to do that to a lady, even more a pretty lady and a princess.
I think you'll have to cut short your daily work. If someone heard your description, they may think it's you." he told her, making a step closer. Sad, he wanted to watch her performance. He bet even if she sucked the men would love it nonetheless. But he was right, if they heard her description - a brown-reddish haired girl with brown eyes about her size - they might just as well tell the guards. And apparently she didn't want it to happen.

“I think you'll have to cut short your daily work. If someone heard your description, they may think it's you." Keth nodded sighing and glanced down. Of course, she would have to stop working, and wouldn’t be able to give a show! How sad, but she promised to herself that the next day she’d be working here, she would make the performance even better! After all, people had been expecting to see her on stage and now, she had to go away because of those stupid bodyguards that were looking for her.
Her manager of course, knew her situation…sort of. He found out that she was a princess a day just like today realizing who she was, she managed to explain him her situation-as much as she could and he agreed to keep it a secret for she earned him a good amount of money because of her pretty look she wasn’t even obvious of. Well, of course she was but she didn’t think it was an important thing to build a relationship or anything else for that matter.
Being lost in her thoughts, she didn’t realize that sir Dai had taken a step closer to her until she raised her head. She startled at first, surprised but then smiled warmly at the newbie of the bar. “And maybe we’ll be able to see each other some more!” she mused, her smile still playing onto her lips. “Now I’ll have to sneak out without being seen by them…” she said to herself.

Dai could see the sadness in her beautiful brown eyes. He wasn't as sad as she was. Personally, seeing or not her show was not something to trouble him. Besides, her current state was perfect to work out his charm. When does a lady needs more a man than when she feels down? He'll be the shoulder to lean on. And if his hands dropped down to her waist along the way it would just be a coincidence.
Surprisingly enough, Dai did not manage to shut down Miku's voice in his head. This was too pervert. He sighed softly. That wench couldn't leave him alone even when they were apart! Dai almost wanted to groan at it, but he bet it wouldn't make a good impression on his flirt. He had to play smooth, and be original.
“And maybe we’ll be able to see each other some more!” Dai smiled back at her. Oh, faster than you think, he said to himself. He didn't want to let her slip away from his grasp. The others might be against it but he didn't care.
As he thought about the others, it came to him he still had to find a way to get the hell out of this place. Even though Dai would like to stay for the pretty ladies, that kind of life was not for him. Being chased by dragons, using only swords and bows, having all sorts of weird races and weird people. No, thanks. He was leaving it to the fantasy and sci-fi movies. He wanted to get back to his sister and family. Back to the normal girls and a relatively safer and much easier life.
“Now I’ll have to sneak out without being seen by them…” His thoughts left him as she said those words. "Don't they have a back door?" he questioned. Surely there was a way to get out of here without using the front door.

"Don't they have a back door?" Keth paused, of course they had, but it was in the kitchen. All she had to do was to let her boss know that she would have to go because of what was happening, the guards, were after her and then, leave the place and attempt a sneaking out back to the palace, hoping they would just forget about her little absence of a few hours. It wouldn’t be that much of trouble would it?
She nodded at his question. “Yes, but it’s in the kitchen.” All she had to do was trying to be incognito in that crowd of men that was giving her special attentions and admiring her and her beauty. She glanced back at Dai, hum, maybe he would help her out on that one; he was taller than her he surely could cover it up for her! Yes, it would be a good plan. She hoped he wouldn’t mind to help her; anyways, he was nice so why not a little helping here?
“Do you think you could help me and cover it up so I can make my way without anyone to interfere? I fear that if I stay any longer, the guards will come back and find me.” She stated with a small frown. Now, she had to give him the sweet eyes-that’s what her mother told her, she remembered. “Sweets eyes like yours always charm men…” though she didn’t really used this as a charm attack or anything…or did she? She never flirted on purpose anyway, when she was it was subconsciously.

“Yes, but it’s in the kitchen.” Oh. That was a little problem. Now how can you make a cute girl like her pass through a room full of men in need, feasting their eyes on her ... beauty. That ought to be tough. Dai doubted they'd let her go away that easily. And if the guards were to come back, or that one of them did the connection between the guards and her and, thinking she was a princess, would sell her away in hope of a reward, or worse, have their way with her and boast about it. Dai was in some way a gentleman and a gentleman never let that happen to a young lady.
“Do you think you could help me and cover it up so I can make my way without anyone to interfere? I fear that if I stay any longer, the guards will come back and find me.” Now that was easier said than done. He couldn't just simply walk and try to hide her, that would look too suspicious. But then how...? An idea popped into his mind. Quickly, Dai looked over the curtain. There were some heavily drunk guys. That could work. But he bet it would also hurt, and a lot.
Hesitating, he turned and came face to face with her. My, she was as cute as a button. Now he felt bad. To get the beating of his life or rescue a pretty lady? In the end, the gentleman won. "Wait here until you can get out." he said, leaving her behind the stage.
Dai took a deep breath. He needed it. Quickly, so he wouldn't turn back, he came to the first guy and punched him hard in the face. It didn't take long before he got what he wanted: a brawl. In all this mess, surely she'd be able to run away. Oh, but that will hurt so much tomorrow.

Kethwyn blinked after she questioned sir Dai about a way to get out of this place. He stared out at something, she didn’t know what it was for she was hid behind the curtain and didn’t have as much of a view as Dai and then, he stared back at her. She gave him a curious look, wondering about what was on his mind. Had he thought of a plan? Maybe! She wanted to know what it was but still didn’t say anything in case it might interrupted him and his thoughts and this, she didn’t want that to happen.
"Wait here until you can get out." Uh? What would he do. He then left her. She blinked. What on earth was about to happen? She had no clues, she didn’t even see Dai punch a guy, all she heard were crashes, yells, and sounds of a …fight? Uh?! She peeked her head out only to quickly hide herself behind the curtains; a chair had come her way, luckily she had dodged it just in time. She sighed of relief.
Was that what Dai had planned? Well, it was sure that she would get out of here incognito while men were fighting each other that’s for sure. She still felt bad for Dai to give her that much of a trouble. She hoped he wouldn’t be in a bad shape or dumped out by her manager because he had started a fight; for she was almost sure he was the cause of this. It was fun to hang out with men but geez, they could be so violent at times! All she could do still was waiting, she bit her lips, hoping that the young man was still fine.

Dai hoped Eliza didn't sat there in a daze as he fought for her. He didn't know the girl all that well and she could just be the kind to get shocked by violence and stand still, not making a move. But what could he do. In that short a time, a fight was the only thing he managed to think about to get her out of this situation.
Now Dai was able to stand out in a brawl. He was rather well trained even if he rarely fought in his life. But if any of the men had a knife or decided to use a knife from the tavern, then he could lose his life. And for what? A pretty face? Come to think of it, it was a perfect way for a womanizer such as himself to die. How else but because of a woman?
Every now and then, Dai tried to look at the stage, to see if Eliza had escaped. But he wasn't seeing anything that could guarantee him she was there or not. So he decided to simply aim for the door. He wanted to get the hell out of there. Before it would degenerate more than it already had. He bet the owner wouldn't let him get back here anytime soon.
Dai couldn't tell exactly how, but after a while he reached for the door and left. With a chair that flew his way. Luckily, it barely touched his shoulder. He muttered a curse under his breath. His fists, stomach, shoulder and face hurt him. He walked to a nearby window to look at the damage. An open lip, an eyebrow too, a rather painful shoulder and probably a broken rib. But the rib wasn't that bad for he was able to walk without much problem. His stomach hurt too. He'll probably have a pretty nice ecchymosis tomorrow.
Sighing, he looked at the bar, hoping Eliza had ran away during the brawl. But not wanting to stay and risk to pick up a fight with the guys coming out, he walked to the central part of town. There were fountains he could wash away the blood in.

After a few more moments of waiting, Keth decided it would be the time for her to give it a shot, the time for her get the hell out of this place, where there was now a general war. Okay, it wasn’t really a war, only a general battle, but seeing the chairs, the alcohol and pieces of glass flying here and there really looked like one. She grabbed the red curtain and wrapped it around herself before starting to make her way towards the kitchen.
She had to get her but out of this place and she would do it. She took a deep breath and began walking through the jungle bowing her head, lowering herself when she needed in an attempt to avoid any flying mug or chair that would pass by. She walked faster as one of the men was about to fall on her. “Eep!” She squealed before luckily avoiding him. She sighed of relief and quickened her pace.
A man stopped her, she gasped but soon found an empty place and knocked him out after mouthing a sorry and her quick pace turned into a race to save her own life. The manager saw her getting out of here but let her go for it would be too dangerous for her to stay in such a place and second, too dangerous for her as well because of the guards that were looking for her.
She wished she could’ve seen Dai though, ah well, looks like it would take a while before seeing him. It was a good thing that her parents had let her learn how to defend herself; it was more of an incase they got invaded, she shouldn’t let anyone touch her and this required certain skills in defense. She was proud of herself of hitting that man-even if she excused herself for doing so. Now she was in the kitchen, she waved a quick good bye to the cooks and pushed the door open, walking quickly out of there.
The red curtain was still enveloping her, it looked as if she had a cloak for her head was covered up as well. She made her way to the center town. Thinking that it would be best for her to go home already, even if she wished to see Dai again. She walked through the small streets and backstreets-some were scary but luckily she managed to make her way to the public place where there was the fountain and she recognize one of the people that were around as Dai she smiled, walking up to him. She ripped off some of the curtain she had…borrowed to the bar and handed it to him. “You’ll need that to clean your face…it’s all dirty.” She said with a frown. “I’m sorry if I gave you much trouble.” She added.

Dai startled when he heard footsteps close. Usually he wouldn't be that paranoid, but after that fight, he didn't want to be disturbed. He wasn't in state to fight off a robber. And he didn't really wanted to end up in jail. It wasn't exactly Miku that would help him. Kazuki maybe, but Dai didn't want to owe anything to that creep.
Luckily for him, it was Eliza. He smiled back, or tried to, for his lip was not helping him. She was dressed in a funny cloak. After a moment, he recognized the curtain. He chuckled, moving more his chest to show he was laughing then his lip. But it still hurt, thanks to his ribs. “You’ll need that to clean your face…it’s all dirty.” she told him as she ripped a part of the curtain and gave it to him. He took gently, put it in the water than started washing off the dirt and blood from his face, being careful near his wounds. He'd have a black eye that was for sure. And his cheek was hurting terribly. "Nice cloak." he said on an amused tone. He wasn't dumb, it was the curtain, but he wanted to light up her mood.
“I’m sorry if I gave you much trouble.” Her frown was almost cute. No, it was cute. He decided to appease her with a smile. "I've been through worse." he said, though he couldn't exactly name more dangerous moments in his life. Anyway it was just to have her stop worrying.

Kethwyn watched Dai and smiled still as he accepted the ripped part of the curtain she had borrowed from the bar she was walking at. She had to at least help him up before she would sneak her way out-she owned him this. Not to add that she didn’t like owning things to people anyways; it always made her feel bad in some ways.
"Nice cloak." She smiled a little but still, the feeling of feeling bad was there and wasn’t about to go until she had fully helped him. She knew it must hurt for him seeing how bad he looked now after he had start a fight at the bar to help her to get out of this place. "I've been through worse." Was it true? She hoped not but whatever, she sat down on the edge of the fountain, beside him, and ripped another piece of her cloak. She plunged her hand that was holding it in the water and took it off before touring it a little. She would help him clean his face.
“Here, let me help you…” she said softly, leaning towards him so she could reach up his face, she carefully began cleaning one wound that was on his cheek. She glanced down at his hands, they would need a clean up to, and she had no doubts on his chest, who would probably need one. She still was feeling bad for him, but less than before and she would feel much better if he let her heal him. “I could heal some of your wounds, if you want…” she proposed him after all, she was gifted with the power of healing.

Dai watched her sit down next to him. He was glad she was doing so. At least that meant she understood she owed him something. She wasn't one of those selfish brat leaving once you gave them everything. “Here, let me help you…” He stopped cleaning himself letting her do it instead. Her movements were soft, she was taking care not to hurt him. Once in a while, Dai winced. Not that it hurt, but the face she was giving him, sorry to have hurt him more, was so cute.
He let her inspect his body. Was there any better way to flirt with a girl? “I could heal some of your wounds, if you want…” Dai stared at her deep brown eyes. He wasn't thinking one second of abilities, simply that she might have learned first aid. He smiled some and nodded to her. If she could heal him, good, if not, well at least she'd run her delicate fingers on his face and chest.

Kethwyn smiled at him and continued cleaning the wounds. She needed to do that before practicing that spell of healing she was gifted with. She gave him a warm smile; at least he had allowed her to do so. She plunged the cloth in the fountain's water once again and brought it back to Dai's face. It was nice to take care of him, he wasn't complaining much like some she had taken care of. Not to had that he was quite a cute one, compaired to those older ones she was meeting at the bar, it was a change to see young people that were close to her age appearance for she was probably way much older than he was.
Except maybe for that bar tender. He was probably close to her age and was a nice one as well but she had to admit, no one was as pretty as he was. A very light blush appeared onto her cheeks at the thought and she thanked the darkness of the night. Sure she was obvious to the flirting but that didn't stop her from having enough judgement on who was cute and who wasn't.
Once the cleaning was done for her face and both of his hands she placed the ripped curtain aside and placed her fingers lightly on the wounds that were on his face. She closed her eyes keeping a good concentration and a small white light began glowing onto his skin. She did small circles, massaging and letting the magic pass she continued going down his face, it took a good twenty minutes before it returned to close to normal, he would still have a black eye but it would surely hurt less than it was.
Now to go to his chest, she shyly slid her own hands under his shirt and began doing the same process that she did to his face. She thought it was a little awkward to do this to someone she had just met but her good nature was always taking over her feelings. She opened her eyes and massaged his chest slightly wanting to give the best of herself so she wouldn't own him anything.

As she cleaned him, Dai smirked. Something in her attitude made him understand she was a little shy. Nervous? He liked that he was finally having an effect on her. For a second, he almost wondered if she wasn't in love with girls. That would be too bad, a real loss to all the men. A girl liked her had to satisfy a man and make all the other envy him and dream of her. Too bad for the girls. Not that he was against that kind of loving - except when he was involved in it. Like with Kazuki. A real pain that one. But he was not around and he would not spoil the moment thinking of him.
Once he was cleaned, he waited for her to heal him. He was not prepared for this. He winced some as she touched his wounds. Blinded by a sudden light he couldn't find the source of, he closed his eyes. He could feel her fingers massaging the muscles of his face. He did nothing for the time it took to heal. He was not really sure it could heal. After all, how can you do it with a massage? But after twenty minutes, when he stopped feeling her fingers, he opened his eyes and looked at his reflection on the water. He widened his eyes of surprise. He was healed! He touched his cheek. No pain. The lip still had a light scar for now but it was not hurting. Amazing!
Dai watched her with astonishment as she did the same treatment to his chest. He saw the light came from her hands. But, no matter how weird it felt, he didn't move. He liked that feeling on his chest. Both shy and practiced. He even moved his chest some to have his muscles be touched more by her delicate fingers. She was shy and he'd give her more reason to be like that. And who knows, perhaps he'd manage to steal a kiss from her.
After the treatment done he took her hands in his. "I had no idea you were that talented. Thank you for your cares." he said before kissing her fingertips.
