"Well they have bath... if you accept to bathe in a dirty water lots of people came in before and that is cold. If I were you, I'd wash myself with the water in you bucket there." Miku rolled her eyes, of course she knew they had bathes; she wasn’t stupid! Though, the fact that everyone went in it before her, and the fact that it wasn’t hot springs nor that the water would be hot didn’t help her to want even more to get cleaner well, dirtier than she already was. It was just too disgusting for her to bare, and she figured even Dai wouldn’t want to go in there.
“Ew, I would never want to get in there, I’d prefer to bath in a clean river with piranhas in it than going in those bathes. I can’t believe we ended up in such a dump.” she mumbled aware enough that other people from this country or whatever they called this world they were stuck in could hear.
"We should get the hell out of this town and find a better one. A cleaner one. Even if the ladies here are pretty cute... Maybe I could bring one or two with us"
Miku nodded, at the first part of his sentence, it would be nice if they would just get out of here. Maybe they’d find a better place, and where there were hot springs at that! Oh it would be a paradise! She hoped they had places like spas where they could relax at and forget that they were stuck in a fantasy old aged world. Though, when he talked about women she glared. “Idiot, you’re not going to bring anyone else if we get out of this place. We’ll have to talk to others about that too.” she added walking up the stairs.

“Ew, I would never want to get in there, I’d prefer to bath in a clean river with piranhas in it than going in those bathes. I can’t believe we ended up in such a dump.”
Dai let her do her little speech without adding anything. Her, more than all the others, would be the kind to complain. In fact, she was doing that since they ended up here it seemed. And who caused them to fall down into this world? Her, of course. But Miku the princess had to be treated like royalty. And here, her money was not working. Poor little girl.
Dai was rather wealthy, or more like his parents were. But he never let money get in his life. It was only bringing trouble. He promised himself to study management so he would never be in need of money, but that didn't mean he'd let money rule his world.
“Idiot, you’re not going to bring anyone else if we get out of this place. We’ll have to talk to others about that too.” Dai had to admit, he was surprised she had not punched him for the comment. Still, her glare was enough. He climbed, his long legs allowing him to get close to her even if she had began walking before him. "You right, I can't bring them, the girls of the other towns will be jealous." he said, knowing how it would annoy her. "We need to find people able to understand how all this happens. They certainly have a geek or two in this world."

"You right, I can't bring them, the girls of the other towns will be jealous." She rolled her eyes at Dai’s comment, of course, she would expect him to say something like that. After all, he was a perverted womanizer and perverted womanizers could only think about one thing…well maybe two; sex and women. Or women and sex, she didn’t know quite the order of their thoughts but she didn’t care much about that detail for she didn’t care-that much as she did before about dear Dai that was following her up the stairs.
“Just quit it…” she said deciding not to go into an other argument session with her ex about him and his ‘girls’. She had enough of it for tonight at least. She did manage to save one of the girls from his grip and that was enough. She was actually proud of herself even if she didn’t showed it much. A light smirk appeared onto her lips before he broke the silence once again and spoke.
"We need to find people able to understand how all this happens. They certainly have a geek or two in this world." He was right on that point; they needed to find someone who could help them to get the hell out of there before she would go crazy in this dump. She didn’t want to spend the rest of her life being poor or worse, ending up living in the street with nothing to wear! She had a small inner heart attack at the thought, and shook her head quickly. “I know, there’s probably some witches or wizard who could help us, we’ve seen dragons here so why not those?” she added.

“Just quit it…” Dai understood she was done arguing about girls with him. She just couldn't understand him. He wasn't really hurting them. He never promised to be theirs forever, only to spend some amazing, unforgivable time with them. He never told a girl he could be her prince charming, he simply acted like a knight in shining armor. And precisely, what were knights in shining armor except players and showoff, roaming lands in search of cute chicks to save, nail and then abandon to get another one? After all, in most stories, the knight was leaving to save other people. So what could make the ladies believe they'd stay true to them? Ladies were hopeless romantic.
“I know, there’s probably some witches or wizard who could help us, we’ve seen dragons here so why not those?” Dai couldn't help but to arch an eyebrow. Even if they did see a dragon, the idea of seeing a witch or a wizard was weird to him. Would they be like Harry Potter? That would be just too weird, to see guys in robes waving a wand around. Or maybe they were like those wizards in D&D, using scrolls and ingredients to cast spells. Still, when you were living in a world of technology, the idea of someone lightening a candle with a spell was rather awkward.
He had to admit though, she was right. In most stories, wizards and witches were the wisest ones. So if someone was to know how they could get the hell out of here, surely it was them. Besides, it was almost like magic, the way they were transported from one dimension to another. He paused a moment, thinking about it. "I'll ask around town and see if someone can help us about it." he said. He proposed himself for he knew he'd be probably one of the best to do so. The prankster would get them killed by fooling around, the rebel wouldn't lift a finger, Kazuki was just too weird, Miku was a little princess whom he doubted she'd go see people downtown. As for the sweetheart, she'd get swindled by the first bad guy. As for the tomboy, she would certainly try to chop the head off any guy hitting on her or acting like girls were not much. No, he was the best choice, he had a natural talent to speak with people and his charismatic personality would help. Besides, that would be a good opportunity to see the pretty girls around here...

Miku continued making her way to their tiny room and smelt herself a little to see if she stunk that much…which she did. EW! She needed a river, or any source of water where she knew no one would come and harm her while she’ll be at least, take off the sweat that came from hard working as a waitress. She sighed, if only they had decent bathes where no one was in those before her! It annoyed her to the most having to share such a thing. No one should be sharing a bath! What were they thinking about?! Maybe there was a river near by where she could take a dip in; she’ll have to visit this town! She’ll do that with Kazu-chan! It would be wonderful, maybe they’d see great stuff in the shops they had! Her expression lit up at the thought but she quickly returned to reality as she heard that annoying Dai talk again.
"I'll ask around town and see if someone can help us about it." Well, he was talking sense for once. She nodded at him. “You should.” She said before pausing…wait, would he really do his job or end up flirting with any girl or thing that was wearing a dress in this town? She raised a suspicious eyebrow at him as she thought about that eventuality that was most possibly to happen.
“Though, don’t go around flirting with any lady you see in this town!” she said to him. She stopped walking and turned around to face him. “Or else, we’ll be stuck in this world forever. Do you want to see that happening? And not be able to protect your little sister from perverts anymore?” she added-maybe this would motivate him from flirting around…who knew what was going on in those perverted minds.

“You should.” she told him after he said he'd go look around town. But then she paused and looked suspiciously at him. He stopped and stared back. Why was she staring at him like that? "What?" he inquired. She couldn't really be against that idea. Honestly, that was for their own good, all of them. She wasn't long before explaining her expression.
“Though, don’t go around flirting with any lady you see in this town!” Dai sighed. She really had to say that, didn't she? Like he couldn't do both! He was a professional. "I'm gonna ask around but if I must use my cahrms on some girls to get info, I won't stop myself." he warned her. A clever way to make her understand he'd do both no matter what she had to say about it. He was not to let himself be bossed around by an ex!
“Or else, we’ll be stuck in this world forever. Do you want to see that happening? And not be able to protect your little sister from perverts anymore?” Dai stopped, thinking about it. He had not done so wince they arrived. It was true. What of his sister? Curious that Miku remembered her, she had seen her probably just once or twice and quickly. he never introduced Miku to his sister. Saya... She had a weak constitution, this was why Dai was always protecting her. For the first time since they were here, Dia wondered if she was alright. And it showed on his face.

"I'm gonna ask around but if I must use my cahrms on some girls to get info, I won't stop myself." Miku paused and thought over to his statement. Okay, maybe he could use his charms, but ONLY to get information out of the ladies’ mouths. Nothing more, nothing less. She hoped he understood what kind of situation they were stuck in.
How could he even think about flirting with girls when he was stuck in a world that wasn’t theirs, where there were no money…well, there was but not the one she owned and worse, how could they live without a shower, parents, a clean house with no roaches in it!? She sighed and rolled her eyes at the womanizer for the second time…or was it the third? ….She didn’t remember, ah well, not like she cared much about it anyways.
“Fine, you can but still, remember our goal is to get out of this world, not to be stuck in there forever because you flirted with women.” she added not trusting him one bit. After all, after their break up, she didn’t trust him anymore. He was just a perverted one and perverts would never change; in her opinion. Then the subject of his sister came out because of her, she noticed the expression he had on his face, did it affect him that much? Well, maybe she should catch up on that…and be nicer… “I’m sure she’ll be fine, she has your parents to take care of her, but still, I have no doubts she’ll miss you.” she added attempting to comfort him-he should be happy about it; she didn’t do that kind often. “You know I’m jealous of you, at least they’ll notice you’re gone, at home even thought I try hard, I’m sure they won’t even notice that I’m here, just like they do usually.” Miku told him with a light frown. She headed towards the bed room and opened the door. There were only the sweetheart along with the shy guy in the room. Both were sleeping. She smiled seeing the guy, he was a nice one, he understood her. She then went to sit on her bed, inspecting it to see if no one stole anything and to make sure there were no insects in it.

“Fine, you can but still, remember our goal is to get out of this world, not to be stuck in there forever because you flirted with women.” Dai looked seriously at her. "You think I don't know?" he replied. He knew of their goal. He wanted to come home as well. But they couldn't really change it in one second could they? "If we're to spend some time in here, better have fun." he stated to explain his behavior. He was not to let her boss him around, no way, not while she was an ex. If he had a chance to flirt, he'll flirt. Besides, why would it matter to her, they were not together anymore. And he was not dumb to the point of risking their passage home for a pair of pretty legs.
Then the matter of his sister came. Saya. She was better to be fine. “I’m sure she’ll be fine, she has your parents to take care of her, but still, I have no doubts she’ll miss you.” he heard her say. He did not reply, lost in his thoughts. Perhaps somewhere deep inside himself he was glad she could care for his sister, even if they never talked.
“You know I’m jealous of you, at least they’ll notice you’re gone, at home even thought I try hard, I’m sure they won’t even notice that I’m here, just like they do usually.” Dai broke free from his thoughts at her comment. he watched her climb the stairs to their room. Yes, he knew about her parents. Dai always said it was the reason she took it so hard the fact he cheated on her. Because, unlike her parents, he was there.
He climbed the stairs and soon joined her into the room. "What you need is a dog." he said. It wasn't the first time he told her that. After they broke up, he told her that what she wanted in him was someone always there for her, totally loyal to her and loving her unconditionally. He then told her she was choosing the wrong species and that she should take a dog. Dai was more like a cat. Independent, selfish, coming at you only when he wanted to. Dogs were loyal.

"You think I don't know?" Miku arched an eyebrow at the sudden seriousness that washed through Dai’s face. Wow, when was the last time she had seen him like that? She couldn’t even remember, or was it because she had never seen such an expression on the number one womanizer she knew? She wondered. "If we're to spend some time in here, better have fun." Rightt she should’ve expected Dai to have say something like that. He couldn’t keep any hands of his off anything that worn a skirt! He was really a perverted man and she doubted he would ever become steady. For, the day this will happen, hell would probably be frozen or pigs would fly…though, there were higher chances that pigs would fly before he would be steady nor fall for a boy aka Kazuki.
"What you need is a dog." Miku rolled her eyes as he spoke. Right but could a dog hug or kiss you? Okay, maybe they licked your face but that didn’t count. She needed affection and warmth of a real, male’s body and someone to tell her how much they care about her and how much their life mean nothing when she’s not around. Apparently, she still hadn’t found someone that would be her other half; most of the men she met were either perverts or just wanted to have her heritage and stuff like that- that was so pissing off!!! She glared at the thought and shook her head.
“You just don’t understand idiot. I don’t think we’ll ever understand each other anyways, so it’s useless to try to do so.” She replied with a shrug. “Well, since there’s no place to bath in, I think I’ll just go to bed already, even though there’s those darned roaches roaming around. I just hate this place…” she complained heading to the bedroom. She pushed the door open and noticed that only the sweetheart and the shy boy were in, meaning that everyone else must either be in the kitchen or just hanging around, what else was there to do in such a boring town? Not much, that was a sad truth. “That’s it, tomorrow I’ll look for a river or a hot spring.” She mumbled to herself taking her purse and grabbing her hair brush before she began brushing her hair, she went and sat down on her part of the bed.

“You just don’t understand idiot. I don’t think we’ll ever understand each other anyways, so it’s useless to try to do so.” On that, Dai was to disagree. He understood her perfectly, better than she understood herself perhaps. He had this ability to do that, at least with women. "You are Miku Maeda. You've been alone all your life and you fear to be alone forever. You are a pain because, if you had the choice, you'd prefer to be hated than ignored. That makes you search for attention constantly and try to find love, even with people who aren't right for you." he said all in one shot. He moved a little closer to her so she'd listen mostly to that second part. "And that is why you get deeply hurt at the smallest treason of a friend. Because you need someone around to give a meaning to your life."
After spitting that out, he bet she'd need time to digest it, He pulled back slightly, hand crossed over his chest. His expression was still quite serious. She had been brushing her hair, for Dai waited for Miku to be inside the room before saying it aloud, preventing other people to hear, if you could believe such thin walls could prevent words to come out of a room.
He knew that truth might hurt her. But through it, Dai hoped she'd stop thinking he was an idiot unable to understand woman. He understood them, her as well. He was the first to admit going steady with him was a bad idea, for he was unable to go steady with anyone. After all, he had no official girlfriend ever since they broke up. Dates, only. But that didn't stop him from understanding she needed more. That was also making him check on her sometimes. She had this tendency of falling for the wrong one... He bet she wouldn't be able to recognize another man like himself was he to come across her path.

That makes you search for attention constantly and try to find love, even with people who aren't right for you." Miku glared at Dai’s words. Wait, what did he just say?! That…that wasn’t right! How could he label people like he was doing with her at the moment? He didn’t understand her at all, and he would never understand anybody nor be understood by anyone at that matter. Humph, she felt like slapping him, her hand clenched onto her hairbrush as she still continued to do so. Oh he had hit on the wound, she just didn’t want to admit it, either to herself or to him.
She backed away a little as he moved closer to her. What now? He wanted a kiss? All he would want is a damned slap if he didn’t stop his nonsense rambling! "And that is why you get deeply hurt at the smallest treason of a friend. Because you need someone around to give a meaning to your life." That was too much. She shot him her most infamous death glare, the one that she had sent him the day he had betrayed her as a boyfriend and failed as telling her he loved her. Tsh, ass.
“………Shut….up…” was all she said, she was too frustrated at the moment at his words, more like pissed. “I’m going to bed, good night.” She said, too frustrated to even knock the hell out of him, she was exhausted from her work and well, she could always yell at him and hit him the next day, right? God, he would pay for saying such inappropriate things at her face! She leaned onto the uncomfortable bed and turned around so her back would be facing him, she didn’t want to see any of his face.

Dai just knew it. Once the words came out, she couldn't accept them. It showed at the first word he said. She knew he was right. What other reason did she have to try to make him be a faithful boyfriend? She wanted a guy around. And he was the sexiest and the greatest smooth talker of the school. She just had to have him.
He didn't care as she backed some. She could slap him, he was used to it. He sighed though as she told him to shut up. "I'm only saying that to help you. You're doing the same mistakes all over again. You keep people think you're superficial and you're looking for a guy to make you happy. You're the one who should make the guy happy, not him." he added.
Of course, all she had to say was to turn her back at him. He sighed again. She was always running away from the true problems. It was easy to blame it all on him. True, he was an asshole for cheating on her, but a normal would have just given up on him and look for someone better. Miku couldn't. She had to keep going after him. And from Dai's point of view, it just showed all that he said to her now.

"I'm only saying that to help you. You're doing the same mistakes all over again. You keep people think you're superficial and you're looking for a guy to make you happy. You're the one who should make the guy happy, not him." Psh, if he was trying to give her a little psychology lesson about how she work, he was probably most likely to be wrong, so totally wrong. She hated him for daring to say such things at her face. He wasn’t one to talk about making a guy happy; take him as an example, he cheated on her-how could she want to make a guy like him happy knowing that he could get something ‘better’. As if anyone else would be better than her…
She humphed at the thought. He was just a bastard, sooner or later, it would come back to him, all of the girls he had broken their heart, they would get back to him and give him the hell he should deserve. She clenched her fist onto her pillow, wanting to tear that disgusting thing up. What else was there to do in those cases anyways?
Once again, he made her cry. She felt her eyes watering up but she would not give him the pleasure of winning, she would prove him he was wrong. That she wasn’t necessarily the only one who was at fault in this situation she was stuck in. She closed her eyes tightly and ignored him, that’s what she’d do from now on-unless he would try to get girls, she would have to say a word about it but beside that, for the moment she would just do as if he didn’t exist.

Dai saw her clenching her fist and closing her eyes shut. He knew that face; she was about to cry. She had the same expression when she found him with another girl. To hear that must have hurt her more than he thought. But she couldn't pretend it wasn't the truth. Dai knew her well, she was like that. She needed attention desperately to feel alive and loved. Dai would not tell her, but she was cute when crying, finally revealing her true self. Rarely she showed it to him. Yes, even him, who was good with women had not managed to see who she was deep down inside.
Miku seemed more and more about to explode. She'll probably hit him. But he'd let her. He always let her. He was not feeling bad that he cheated on her. He felt bad about the fact he made her cry that much. He never meant to do that. But how could he tell her that. She never wanted to hear a thing about it. And surely she wouldn't want to know about it now either. But perhaps she would.
"You know, that girl..." he said before cutting short in a sigh. It was useless, never would she want to know. The explanation wouldn't give him an excuse. But perhaps she'd like to know it wasn't her fault. Even had they slept together he would have cheated. Because it was in his nature.
